Reservation

Reservations made on a 3rd party website or with travel agent or corporate are subject to the terms and conditions of the 3rd party and 3rd party can only be cancelled or changed any reservation and for individual reservation first night should be paid to guarantee the reservation.

Payment Policies

  • Authorization: Gem’s hotel reserves the right to pre-authorize credit Cards prior to arrival.
  • Payments by: Cash, Maestro, Visa, Master card, American Express, check, money transfer.

Cancellation policy

While the hotel is passing through low season cancellation of your stay will be free of charges and restrictions but if in high seasons Reservation prepayments should be as below:
  • If the cancellation occurs 07 days prior to arrival, a penalty of 25 % of the whole stay will be charged.
  • If the cancellation occurs 04 days prior to arrival, a penalty of 50 % of the whole stay will be charged.
  • If the cancellation occurs 02 days prior to arrival, a penalty of 75 % of the whole stay will be charged.

Minimum Age Requirements

In order to reserve a room and check in to our property you must be at least 18 years of age and provide a valid passport, driver’s License or Identification card for locals.

Disabilities Act Policy

Gems Aparthotel is equipped with 5 rooms for disabled. Please ensure that your requests is placed on reservation form.

Maximum Occupancy

  • Standard rooms: 2 persons maximum per room.
  • Deluxe King Room and all Suites: 2 persons maximum per room (Extra person fee applies for 20 USD).
  • Gems suite: 4 persons maximum per room (extra person fee applies for 5th person fee is 20 USD).
  • All children are welcomed at Gems Aparthotel; child under 8 stays free of charge when using existing bed.
  • The maximum number of extra beds / baby cribs per room is 1 depending on the room type. Some rooms are not accepted for Extra beds

Housekeeping

All occupied rooms will be serviced even while guests are not present and it’s available till 05:00 PM. Guests that return after 05:00 pm to find they miss the DND light is ON will not be able to have full service of the room, but an attendant will empty garbage and provide new towels and amenities. For the safety of our staff and our guests, guest should be informed upon check-in to put all his valuable items in the safe box. Should you need further assistance please contact the front desk.

Laundry Dry Clean

The Gems Aparthotel offers a laundry service with dry cleaning service. Same-day service is available; if the clothes are received by (7am-11am), they are returned in the same day before 06:00pm. If the clothes are received after 11:00 am they will return it the following day before 11 am. Express service is available; clothes will be ready within 2 hours with extra charge on the laundry voucher. Laundry bags are available in your closet and just give a phone call to the front desk and the procedure will take place. Prices can be found in your closet or you can contact our front desk.

Do Not Disturb Policy

The interior of the room is outfitted with two buttons near the door that act as a light is visible on the outside of the door that will alert any staff members not to knock or enter the room for any reason. When the "Service” button is pressed, a green light is visible and the staff knows they should clean the room as soon as they can.

Lost and Found Policy

Gems Aparthotel is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen personal items. All rooms are equipped with in-room safe boxes, and our front office offers a safety deposit box facility. Gems Aparthotel keeps detailed records of all found items, and will make a reasonable effort to contact the guest if an item is left in the hotel's guest room after the guest has checked out which will be placed in our Lost & Found safety box. We will ship items back at the owner's expense. Any items in the Lost & Found, which are not claimed within ninety (90) days, will be donated to a local charity or discarded.

Fire Safety Policy

The hotel is fully equipped with smoke detectors and emergency evacuation plans in all rooms and public areas. Just check the fire instructions listed in your room folder and follow the fire evacuation map on your room door.

Taxi Transportation

Gems Aparthotel offers you a private taxi for your transportation from and to the hotel, a taxi from Beirut International Airport to Gems Aparthotel is estimated at 25.00 USD. Depending on route taken and traffic the journey should take around 25 minutes. All prices are found at the reception and at your information desk at your room, the service provides a no-cash-payment solution that charges your ride directly to your account.

Hard Ware Rentals And Appliances

Guest can rent many hardware and hotel equipment and room amenities such as:
  • DVD
  • Laptop
  • Iron and iron board
  • play station
  • Digital receiver
  • Access point
Guest have to pay the rental fees plus a guarantee amount that will be refunded when you return the hardware in a safe condition. For any information about the price you can check your info folder in your room desk or ask the front desk.

Parking Policy

The hotel has a partnership with a local garage that provides valet parking service for our guests. Self-parking is not provided; we do not recommend parking on the street, regardless of posted signage, as damage, theft, or parking tickets can occur at any time without notice. The hotel is not responsible for fines, loss, or damage to cars on the street or in the loading zone directly in front of the hotel. The hotel and garage are not responsible for personal belongings left in the car or glove compartment. We recommend removing all valuables from the car when you arrive and ask that you leave only the key to the ignition. All claims for loss or damage must be made to the garage attendant at the time the car is returned. After guest departure, insurance regulation states that the hotel and garage assume no liability for loss or damage to the guests’ property or vehicle, parking solutions and plans vary as the following:
